Charge of the Light Horse have been working their unique brand of
rootsy, atmospheric indie rock since 2004. Their latest release
Fractures was hailed as "a thing of beauty," and "a
classic" by Wildy's World, and was named the Best Independent
Album of 2008 by the Daily Vault. Heavier Than Air describes the
band as, "Unassuming in the best possible way, in that they
rely on quietly winding guitar lines, a skilled but subtle underlying
rhythm section, and honest, world-wise lyrics," and WYRR Radio
added, "We can't say enough good things about this group. In
a sea of boring college/alt rock drivel, this trio really stands
out."
