Born, raised and still living in West Virginia, Laura Busey writes and sings honest music. At 22, she was one of the youngest billing managers for an international law firm. Feeling that something was missing, she gave it up and went to college. In May 2009, she graduated with her Bachelor's degree in both English and History. When not writing and performing music, she teaches college readiness to high school sophomores. In Fall 2009, she was selected as a top ten finalist in the Shenandoah Valley Acoustic Roots Contest. Her musical influences are diverse, ranging from bluegrass to soft rock.
