Stemming
from a musical family, bilingual singer/songwriter Linda Basso was
born and raised in Montreal. Learning guitar at a very young age,
she was exposed to music in all genres which contributed in creating
her own style of adult contemporary songs flavoured with jazz and
blues. She produced an EP album called Song title “Magical
Night” has earned an Honorable Mention & Suggested Artist
in an International Song of the Year contest. She was also a finalist
in the 2009 Indiegrrl Songwriting Contest, and was selected for
a Royalty magazine compilation due for release autumn 2009. Linda
can be heard on many radio stations from the Up Town Jazz Network
to Soulful Radio Network only to name a few and is featured on the
“Need to be heard” series, on Breakaway Internet Radio
as well as the Indie Revolution Radio Show & podcast only to
name a few.
