Meghan Trainor is a 15 year old singer/songwriter from Cape Cod. She has been writing and performing her own music for over 4 years. Meghan plays keyboards and guitar. She takes guitar lessons from Johnny Spampinato of NRBQ and recorded two of her songs with him and his brother, Joey also of the band NRBQ. The rest of her songs are recorded at home by Meghan. She performs all of the music and sings all of the lead and background vocals herself and produces the songs herself.
Meghan attended the Berklee College of Music's 5 week Performance Program this summer, getting all A's and was 1 of 12 finalists in their songwriting contest.
A sophmore at Nauset High School, Meghan is in the Honors Chorus and plays trumpet in the Jazz Band.
